A dedicated reader and writer since childhood, I strongly believe in the power of storytelling within language education, advocating for an enjoyable learning experience for both the student and teacher. I strive to create engaging lessons, fostering an open and inviting classroom environment where students will learn their best. Having previously contributed as an English Enrichment Curriculum Writer for a leading tuition centre in Singapore, I later spent a year as a full-time Specialist English and Writing Teacher before going off to university, a role I continued on a part-time basis during the holidays for a total of roughly two years. Outside of academics, my other main passion is Taiji, a sport I have been training tirelessly in for the past ten years. My expertise extends from barehanded routines to short weapons, particularly the fan and the sword, for which I have won several medals at national competitions. I have regularly filled in as Assistant Coach on various occasions, helping to oversee the training of students ranging from preschoolers to the elderly, from beginner to intermediate level.
